As we expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Stock Administrator to manage our payroll using Rippling and handle equity administration through Morgan Stanley Shareworks. Responsibilities: Payroll Processing: Utilize Rippling to process payroll for all employees accurately and on time. Manage payroll tax filings, including federal, state, and local, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Handle special payroll requests such as bonuses, commissions, and terminations. Equity Management: Administer equity compensation plans using Morgan Stanley Shareworks, including stock options, RSUs, and ESOPs. Oversee stock plan activities like grant acceptance, vesting schedules, and exercise processes. Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting for equity transactions in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Compliance and Reporting: Stay updated with changes in payroll laws to ensure continuous compliance. Prepare and submit required compliance reports such as W-2s, 1099s, and other necessary documentation. Employee Support: Serve as the primary contact for employee payroll and equity-related inquiries. Assist in the onboarding process related to payroll and equity compensation, ensuring new hires are set up correctly in Rippling. Integration and Automation: Work with HR and IT teams to integrate payroll data with other HR systems for seamless employee data management. Leverage Rippling's capabilities to automate payroll workflows, reducing manual entry and enhancing efficiency. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during payroll processing or equity transactions. Conduct investigations into payroll errors or equity discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of experience in payroll administration. Familiarity with equity compensation management, particularly with Morgan Stanley Shareworks. Strong understanding of payroll tax, labor laws, and regulations. Preferred Skills and Experience: Certification in Payroll (e.g., CPP - Certified Payroll Professional) Experience using Rippling for payroll processing. Experience in a global payroll environment is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a keen attention to detail Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
