SUMMARY OF JOB:
The patient care assistant performs assigned duties of patient care, activities of daily living and related tasks under the direct supervision of a nurse.
Promotes maximum independence and comfort for each patient by providing individualized care in collaboration with co-workers, patients and families.
Supports and Promotes Patient strengths and abilities, capacity for social contribution, unique values, preferences, living habits and autonomy of choice.




RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma/Equivalency
Previous clinical health care experience is preferred
Must be available for alternating shifts
Meets performance standards within introductory period
