As a Bio-Rad Production Technician III at our Hercules, CA location, you'll play a crucial role in producing specialized life science products essential for researchers and scientists striving for healthcare breakthroughs and saving lives.
Your primary responsibilities will include formulating bulks, buffers, and solutions in a clean room laboratory.
You will also collaborate closely with our development teams on new product initiatives.
Additionally, you'll gain in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing process and adhere to safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations to uphold our high standards.
The Global Supply Chain's Manufacturing team is dedicated to delivering top-quality products for clinical diagnostic labs and life sciences research.
How You'll Make an Impact Formulate highly technical bulks, buffers, and solutions to support the PCR product portfolio in a clean room environment, to avoid product contamination. Adhere to controlled Standard Operating Procedures, Production Procedures, and document production in batch records following GDP/GMP guidelines.
Assist Research and Development by fulfilling inventory requests for new product development.
Manage and dispose of all materials in compliance with safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations.
Perform general laboratory maintenance, including cleaning work areas, washing dishes, and managing inventory via SAP. Set up, maintain, calibrate, and support the troubleshooting and repair of laboratory equipment. What You Bring High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Associate degree preferred. College level courses and/or specialized training in the assigned technical discipline preferred.
6+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Practical experience with quality systems, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), buffer preparation, and equipment operation.
Collaborative team player, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality standards.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $25.96 to $35.72 per hour at the time of posting.
Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
