Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists patients with activities of daily living and performs procedures for physical hygiene and comfort of patients. Performs duties with the construct of a unit-based, self-directed patient care team while sharing various tasks with other licensed and non-licensed members.
Shift: M-F, 8 hr day shift KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREDHigh School diploma or equivalentMust hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERREDGraduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant CourseListed as a CNA on the Georgia Registry OR Graduate of a U.S. Military Medic course OR Emergency Medical Tech with one (1) year experienceVisual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
