TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Roanoke, Virginia, 24014 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 10 Weeks Shift: Day Shift, 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Preferably 48 hours, can consider 36 hours Experience: Ventilation experience preferred License: Active nursing license required Certifications: COVID-19 Vaccine, Flu Vaccine (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) Must-Have: - Willingness to work holidays: Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, & New Year's Day Job Description: - The assignment is for 10 weeks with four 12-hour shifts per week. - Must begin between mid-November to early December. - No holiday requests for time off are allowed. - Nurses may be assigned to any open PCU and are expected to float to other PCUs or Med-Surg units as needed. - Current nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5 for PCU. - Return travelers must have been away for at least one year before submitting again as travelers. - Orientation includes 24 hours with modules and system training to be completed early in the assignment. - Willingness to comply with travel and holiday guidelines is essential. 26132472EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
