The Department of Anesthesiology at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School, seeks a qualified Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a full-time position, Non-Tenure Track. Academic rank depends on qualifications. Duties include on-site anesthesia services to adult patients at University Hospital; intraoperative and didactic teaching of residents; participation in Faculty Development programs; working collaboratively with the members of the surgical services both clinically and administratively; contributing to research that forwards the discipline academically and clinically.

ResponsibilitiesExpected to participate fully in the teaching, service, research, and scholarly activities of the Department of Anesthesiology in all assigned locations to the satisfaction of the Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Provide on-site anesthesia services to pediatric and adult patients at University Hospital, The Stone Center of New Jersey, and the Same-Day-Surgery Center;Provide subspecialty Pediatric Anesthesia services on an as-needed basis;Provide teaching/educational activities that forward division/departmental goals;Participate in various divisional/departmental/institutional initiatives and activities;Participate in Faculty Development and skill/knowledge acquisition activities;Understand and adhere to Rutgers' compliance standards as per the relevant Compliance and Code of Conduct Policy;Keep abreast of all pertinent federal, state, and Rutgers regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified;Work collaboratively with the members of the Pediatric Anesthesia team both clinically and administratively;Participate and promote research that forwards the discipline both academically and clinically;Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chair.QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience: Board certified with sub-specialty in Pediatric Anesthesia.
