Position Overview:
A leading hospital in the heart of Manhattan is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join their collegial and dynamic anesthesia practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for both new graduates and experienced physicians with a pediatric fellowship.
The role will involve a variety of cases in a multidisciplinary setting, and the successful candidate will work alongside a team of highly skilled CRNAs, residents, and other anesthesia professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality anesthesiology care for pediatric patients, including cases in pediatrics, vascular, thoracic, OB, neuro, trauma, general surgery, and orthopedic procedures.100% medical direction of CRNAs and anesthesia residents.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational activities for residents and fellows.Share in a rotating 1:7 off post-call schedule.Ensure patient safety and quality care while adhering to hospital protocols and guidelines.Collaborate with surgical teams to determine appropriate anesthesia plans and methods for diverse cases.Compensation and Benefits:

Education/Experience:Completion of a Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship is required.New graduates or experienced candidates with pediatric fellowship training are encouraged to apply.Licensure: Must have applied for a New York State Medical License at the time of application.Skills:Strong clinical skills in pediatric anesthesia and a broad range of surgical specialties.Ability to lead and work effectively with CRNAs, residents, and other healthcare professionals.A strong work ethic, compassionate patient care, and the ability to thrive in a team-based environment.About the Facility:
