Responsibilities The Department of Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to join our practice.
The Pediatric Cardiologist would join the Division of Pediatric Cardiology within the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine.
The role would include responsibilities for inpatient and outpatient general pediatric cardiology care.
The candidate would also have the opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient echocardiography depending on experience.
The candidate would participate in the general pediatric cardiology hospital service call pool, but would only be asked to perform 4-5 weeks per year of service and call depending on FTE.
The pediatric cardiology team at Mayo Clinic has established a robust, very successful outreach practice, which is split amongst all members of our division.
The successful candidate would be asked to participate in the outreach practice (either in person or via telehealth) along with their colleagues.

Qualifications Candidates must be board certified / board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology with the American Board of Pediatrics and be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Minnesota.
This individual should also have a strong interest in education and clinical research.

The minimum starting salary for medical specialties may range from $194,250 to $616,000.
This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties.
Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
