MaineHealth Pediatric Specialty Care is seeking a FT BC/BE Pediatric Endocrinologist to join their well-established Division of Pediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes in Portland, Maine.
This position offers:
Outstanding clinical care in the full complement of endocrine disorders and all forms of diabetes. Robust support including two nurse practitioners, five certified diabetes educators, a social worker, and three endocrinology nurses. Participation in the Tufts University School of Medicine and the Pediatric Residency program both in the clinical and research arenas. Membership in the medical staff of The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital, a 116-bed tertiary care pediatric hospital within MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Portland, and Maine's only dedicated children's hospital, providing comprehensive services including a PICU, NICU, dedicated pediatric section in the ED, and a 35-bed Inpatient Unit. Other affiliated programs in our system include the pediatric Weight and Wellness clinic, Muscular Dystrophy program, the Gender Clinic, Differences of Sex Development, and the Maine Children's Cancer Program. Qualifications: MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology. Appropriate for recent fellowship graduates looking for ongoing mentorship as they develop their careers or more experienced physicians seeking a blend of clinical, academic, and administrative roles.
