Contact: Overview Exciting part time opportunity for a Pediatric Hospitalist with teaching opportunities in Baltimore Responsibilities We are seeking a part time BC/BE per diem pediatrician to be part of our hospitalist team at the Herman and Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai in Baltimore, Maryland.
20-bed inpatient unit with the hospitalist team managing an ADC of 5-7 patients Full time support from an array of pediatric subspecialties as well as pediatric intensivists Patients are drawn from the pediatric emergency department, general and subspecialty outpatient offices, and surrounding hospitals Responsibilities Clinical responsibilities include caring for general inpatient pediatric patients, co-management of pediatric subspecialty patients, and providing inpatient consultations as needed This is a teaching service with attendings supervising and teaching learners of all levels Responsibilities include seeing new admissions and rounding on patients while in house during the day, and taking call from home at night Hospitalist attendings are active members of Sinai's division of pediatric hospital medicine and the larger Sinai pediatric faculty Part time commitment is 7 weeks per year.
