Columbus Regional Health Physicians has an excellent opportunity for a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our expanding team of Hospital Care Physicians.
Ideal candidates should be board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatrics. The full team will consist of 4 Pediatric Hospitalists and 1 Nurse Practitioner.
Opportunity Highlights Work 182 shifts per year. Average of seven or eight 10-hour day shifts and seven or eight 14-hour night shifts per month. Will be about 7 on 7 off but will be adjustable and flexible based on the scheduling needs.Responsible for rounding on pediatric inpatients, Level 2 nursery & newborns.REQUIRED PROCEDURES WITH RECENT EXPERIENCE: Neonatal Resuscitation, Intubation, Lumbar Puncture, Circumcision (on-site training available), Emergency Needle Thoracentesis, Umbilical Lines, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, IV fluids, tube feedings, antibiotics.REQUIRED: NRP and PALS certified.Emergency Department Consults.Level I and II Nursery.
