Pediatric Intensivist Medical Director Opportunity in an Outdoor Enthusiast's Paradise Seeking a BC Pediatric Intensivist to serve as Practice Medical Director and lead our PICU team at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV.
The 16-bed PICU has an average daily census of 10-11.Most pediatric subspecialists are available, including pediatric surgery.The 30-bed pediatric acute care ward is covered by our affiliated group of pediatric hospitalists.Responsibilities include 24-hour in-house coverage, sedation service, ER consults, medical student and pediatric resident education.Affiliation with the University of Nevada School of Medicine.The hospital is the region's only Level-II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada as well as northeastern California.About The Area Set on the banks of the Truckee River, Reno is a vibrant, growing community voted one of Livability's top places to live and named one of National Geographic's Top 10 Emerging Ski Towns.
