Responsibilities:
Provides music therapy consultations and services to the patient and/or family in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care as an integral part of the comprehensive care services.


Qualifications:
A.
Education/Regulatory Requirements: o Degree in Music Therapy from an AMTA accredited university within 6 months.

o Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) required within 6 months.

B.
Skills: o A minimum of one to two years music therapy experience preferred.


o Experience working in hospice, geriatrics, or in a health care related field preferred.

o Competence with the technical components necessary to complete the job.

o Must possess the ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance, a valid Florida Drivers license and basic knowledge of the county territory.
