Job Title: Pediatric Neurologist
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pediatric Neurologist to join our team in Anchorage, AK.
This position is 100% pediatric-focused, providing a mix of outpatient and inpatient care.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in radiologic exam interpretation, EEG analysis, brain death exams, and disability evaluations.
Additional experience in specialized procedures such as diagnostic/therapeutic taps, lumbar punctures, subdural taps, EMG, pain management, and nerve blocks is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits: Base Salary: $310,000 annuallyRelocation Assistance: Up to $25,000Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceKey Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Interpret radiologic exams, EEGs, and perform brain death and disability evaluations.Perform procedures such as diagnostic/therapeutic taps, lumbar punctures, subdural taps, and EMG.Conduct pain management procedures, including peripheral nerve blocks, spinal/paraspinal, and epidural blocks (preferred).Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.Stay current with advancements in pediatric neurology to ensure evidence-based practices.Requirements: Board Certification in Pediatric Neurology.Current BLS and PALS certification.Ability to work effectively in both outpatient and inpatient environments.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.U.S.
citizenship or permanent residency.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as lumbar punctures, subdural taps, EMG, and pain management techniques.Expertise in peripheral nerve blocks, spinal/paraspinal, and epidural blocks.Why Anchorage, Alaska?
