Pediatric Neurologist We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Pediatric Neurologist to join our dedicated healthcare team in Anchorage, Alaska.
This position involves a robust mix of both outpatient and inpatient care, specifically tailored to pediatric patients.
The successful candidate will provide expert neurology services, including the interpretation of radiologic exams and EEGs, management of brain death and disability evaluations, and hands-on procedures such as lumbar punctures and nerve blocks.

Salary: $310,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality neurologic care to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Interpret radiologic and electroencephalogram (EEG) examinations to diagnose conditions.Assist in brain death and comprehensive disability evaluations for pediatric patients.Perform specialized procedures including diagnostic/therapeutic taps and lumbar punctures.Manage various types of pain through nerve blocks and other advanced pain management techniques.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the health services spectrum to provide coordinated care.Stay updated with the latest in pediatric neurology to ensure the use of evidence-based practices.Minimum Position Qualifications: Board Certification in Pediatric Neurology.Current BLS and PALS certification.Demonstrated ability to effectively work in both outpatient and inpatient settings.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.Legal U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status.Preferred Qualifications: Extensive experience in performing lumbar punctures, subdural taps, EMG, and other neurologic procedures.Advanced expertise in administering peripheral, spinal/paraspinal, and epidural nerve blocks.Skills: Proficient in radiologic exam interpretation and EEG analysis.Skilled in invasive procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.Effective in pain management specifically tailored for pediatric patients.Ability to lead and educate a multidisciplinary team with up-to-date practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions.Benefits: Base salary of $310,000 with bonus opportunities.Relocation assistance up to $25,000.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance packages.Generous professional development opportunities.Live and work in a location with exceptional natural beauty and outdoor recreational options.
