Pediatric Ophthalmologist

The University of Missouri (MU), Department of Ophthalmology and MU Health system in Columbia, MO are actively recruiting a pediatric ophthalmologist to join our expanding ophthalmology team.
Job Requirements The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking an academically-oriented pediatric ophthalmologist to join our practice. Our practice currently includes 12 ophthalmologists specializing in Neuro, Glaucoma, Oculoplastic, Cornea, Retina, Pediatric and Comprehensive plus six (6) optometrists and 11 PhD researchers. The Department supports a 16 resident Ophthalmology training program as well as a 1 and 2 year clinical fellowship within several of our specialties (AUPO accredited). Qualified candidates will be considered at the rank of assistant professor or higher in MU's clinician-educator path. Candidates must have an MD degree, be board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology, and fellowship-trained in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, and eligible to practice in Missouri.
