Position: Physician Assistant Employment Type: Full-time, 4 days a week required (Days) Location: Baltimore, Maryland Start Date: Flexible Language: Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant with a focus on pediatric care to join our healthcare team. The Physician Assistant will work closely with pediatricians to deliver high-quality care to children and adolescents in our clinic, which has proudly served the community for over 30 years. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in pediatric patient assessment, child development, clinic operations, and urgent care. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive pediatric assessments and physical examinations under the supervision of pediatricians. Assist in clinic operations, including patient intake, detailed medical histories, and child-specific treatment procedures. Provide urgent care services for pediatric patients requiring immediate medical attention. Adhere to pediatric healthcare standards and protocols during all patient interactions. Offer patient and family education on child health, disease prevention, developmental milestones, and treatment options. Collaborate closely with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for children. Develop and implement pediatric treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions tailored to children's needs. Accurately document pediatric patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field. Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C). Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred. Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies.
