Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with a diverse patient population, focusing on providing comprehensive outpatient pediatric speech therapy services.Responsibilities:- Conduct patient assessments to diagnose speech and language.- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.- Provide speech therapy services to patients, including interventions for articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.- Participate in meetings and discussions related to patient progress and treatment plans.- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies.Requirements:- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.- Proficiency in medical terminology related to speech therapy.- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to speech and swallowing functions.- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for school-based settings.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Joining our team as a Speech Language Pathologist offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients while working in a collaborative healthcare environment.
