Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (Slp) - School Based Services (Prn - Days)

Description Will have the task of meeting the speech therapy needs of ESH's community which may include inpatient, outpatient, outpatient pediatric, swing bed, home health and school settings.
Responsible for the care, safety, and wellbeing of patients during treatment sessions.
Extent of skill and care demonstrated in the treatment and management of patients.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and develop plan of care for patients establishing goals of treatment and plan for discharge; taking into consideration the patients' needs and limitations.
Consults with attending physician concerning the patient's needs and limitations, goals, plan of care, progress, and discharge plans.
Reimbursed for any travel related patient care activities.
Perform daily documentation of each patient's progress and challenges.
Maintains department records properly and completes them correctly.
Provide patients and caregivers with educational material as appropriate.
Perform monthly comprehensive summaries and weekly goal updates on each patient.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
RequirementsSpeech Language Pathology license required.
Prefer LSVT-LOUD certification, but not required.
Experience with video swallow studies required.
