About the Role: HopeLink Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Peer Support Specialist to join our Supportive Housing Team. In this rewarding role, you will use your own lived experience to empower and support individuals experiencing mental illness in finding and maintaining stable housing. Working under the supervision of the Supportive Housing Supervisor, you will provide outreach, education, and support services, helping clients build a network of support systems and navigate their path to recovery.

Meaningful work in a supportive and collaborative environment Opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others Responsibilities: Conduct outreach activities to connect with clients in the Supportive Housing program, both active and inactive. Partner with staff to prescreen and engage potential clients in the community. Document outreach efforts and client interactions in electronic health records. Provide regular feedback to your supervisor on individual and group client work. Update the team on client progress and changes in their level of functioning. Identify and communicate to clinical staff the need for crisis intervention for clients. Assist clients in accessing essential community resources. Share your personal recovery journey and program knowledge to educate clients. Demonstrate proficiency in relevant computer software programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (Certified or Registered Peer Support Specialist preferred) Valid driver's license with a good driving record and reliable transportation Lived experience of mental illness Strong empathy and a genuine desire to support others Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including group facilitation abilities Ready to Make a Difference?
