Position Overview:The People and Culture Specialist will play a vital role in supporting a thriving, people-first organization by assisting with various aspects of employee engagement, communication, and administrative operations. This position offers an opportunity to create meaningful employee experiences, foster organizational efficiency, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities: · Provide administrative support to the People and Culture (P&C) team, including record-keeping, data management, and maintaining accurate employee records.
· Assist with onboarding and orientation, ensuring new hires feel welcomed and set up for success.
· Help plan, coordinate, and execute employee events, engagement activities, and recognition programs.
· Manage and distribute internal and external surveys; analyze feedback to drive organizational improvements.
· Create efficiencies across the organization through streamlined email communication and regular touchpoints.
· Maintain communication with Insperity for seamless payroll, benefits, and HR operations.
· Employment verifications, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
· Manage and update the company org chart and Confluence to ensure accurate information.
· Assist with the termination process, including revoking accesses and notifying distribution lists.
Specific Duties: · Support payroll processes and provide coverage as needed.
· Expedite quarterly Intentional Gifting Programs to foster employee appreciation.
· Coordinate Mental Health Awareness Month activities to promote wellness and engagement.
· Ensure supervisors receive timely updates on employee birthdays and anniversaries.
· Implement programs that encourage employees to embrace challenges and grow stronger.
· Create, manage and analyze employee surveys, internal and external, to identify actionable insights.
· Facilitate communication efforts, including term notifications and updates to appropriate distribution lists.
Qualifications: · Previous experience in Human Resources, People and Culture, or administrative support preferred.
· Familiarity with the Insperity HRIS system is a plus.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with a collaborative mindset.
· High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism.
· Strategic, forward-thinking, self-motivated, and creative individual with a proactive approach.
