The Opportunity We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and motivated People Experience professional to join our People Team. This person will be an important member of our team and will have a company-wide impact. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a great place to work, will exercise follow-through, and have a good sense of humor. The role will report to the SVP of People.
What You'll Do: Workplace: Manage our office perks, stock our kitchen and office, order yummy treats, manage shipments and mail, work with our landlord on facilities, and keep our Canopy workplace running smoothly.Events: Coordinate company and team events and celebrations.DEIB & Community: Support our DEIB and Community initiatives.Calendar: Keep our teams organized by managing the calendar for company events and recurring meetings.Communications: Partner with the SVP of People on employee-facing communications and announcements.People Experience: Support exceptional recruiting, onboarding, and people experience. You will also help with special projects on the People Team.Logistics: Provide the employees and executive team with additional support on a variety of projects and logistics.Culture: Champion our values and enhance the Canopy culture
What We're Looking For: Ability to work in-office 3 to 5 days per week, as required. At least 1-2 years experience in an administrative, office, or events role.Experience with GSuite, video conferencing, and messaging software.Highly organized, able to manage competing priorities, and follow through.Attention to detail and proactive spotter and solver of problems.Excellent written and verbal communication and desire to learn.Passionate about creating a fantastic employee experience.
