People Operations: new hire orientation; employee payroll, benefits administration; off-boarding for voluntary and involuntary terminations.
Employee Experience: play a major role in fostering our company culture; organizing company and team social functions and special events;
Employee Effectiveness & Growth: support learning and development programs; assist in performance reviews and employee feedback
Compliance: understanding applicable Federal, state, county, and municipal laws and regulations; advising business units and management on requirements of applicable laws; developing and implementing employee policies
WHO YOU ARE 3–5 years of HR and recruiting experience
Must have experience working with full-time, salaried workforce
HR certification is strongly preferred (ex: SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.)
Experience working in a tech start-up is strongly preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong adaptability and experience working in a fast-paced work environment
Must have hands-on experience managing and resolving employee relations issues.
Ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior executives, managers, and individual contributors
Superior abstract reasoning and analytical skills. Creative thinker who finds innovative solutions to obstacles.
Effective communicator, both written and verbal. Articulates concepts in a clear, structured, and succinct manner. Adjusts communication based on the audience.
A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent is required, with a preference for an advanced degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
