The roleKey Responsibilities: Software Department support: provide on the ground support for US based Software leaders.
Work in partnership with the Software People Partner in London to roll out Software people strategies and resolve challenges on the ground.
Provide the same support for our growing Fleet Operations leadership & team.Manager Support: support & coach US based managers, advising on and resolving any workplace issues and labor relations issues.Performance Management: Support the implementation of performance management systems in the US, including performance reviews, calibrations, feedback sessions, and development plans.
Assist managers in maximising the potential of their people and addressing performance issues.Diversity & Inclusion: in collaboration with the global team, create and implement initiatives to increase diversity at Wayve and support under represented groups.Culture & Community: together with the local US team, uphold the company values and find points of community & connection for our growing US team.Onboarding: Support the Senior People Operations Associate to deliver a high quality onboarding experience.Policy Implementation: Lead on the development and implementation of people policies and procedures specific to the US facility, and support and input on the creation of global people policies.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws.Talent Acquisition Support: support the Talent team in finding world class talent including input on offers, interviewing and local branding activities.About youIn order to set you up for success as People Partner at Wayve, we're looking for the following skills and experience:
Proven years of experience in a similar People/HR role in a fast paced tech organisation and start up environment.Experience in working with globally distributed teams for an international organisation.
Experience working in a matrixed team would be an advantage, as would experience of working independently.Comprehensive knowledge of US labor laws, benefits and HR best practices (especially California) and experience of resolving labor relations cases independently.The ability to navigate, and thrive, in ambiguity and change.Outstanding collaboration & communication skills.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Proficiency with HRIS systems.Ability and experience in implementing policy and procedures from the ground up.We understand that everyone has a unique set of skills and experiences and that not everyone will meet all of the requirements listed above.
