Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled PeopleSoft Administrator to join our team for a 6+ month remote contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PeopleSoft administration, including architecture and component management, and hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Integration (OCI). This role involves managing and administering PeopleSoft applications, ensuring seamless integration with OCI, and providing technical support to end-users.
Responsibilities:
Manage and administer PeopleSoft applications, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between PeopleSoft and Oracle Cloud services.
Configure and troubleshoot OCI components to optimize performance and ensure reliability.
Monitor system performance and security, implementing necessary measures to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders, addressing issues and resolving queries in a timely manner.
Collaborate with software developers and architects to implement enhancements and upgrades to PeopleSoft systems.
Document processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference and training purposes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator, with in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture and components.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Integration (OCI), including familiarity with OCI services such as Compute, Storage, and Networking.
Strong understanding of integration methodologies and tools, particularly in integrating PeopleSoft with Oracle Cloud services.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to PeopleSoft applications and OCI components.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the healthcare, finance, or government sectors.
Knowledge of industry best practices and standards related to PeopleSoft and OCI.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
