Per Diem Team Members are required to work a minimum of 5 shifts per month, based on the needs of the department. 2 of the 5 shifts must be on a weekend. Per Diem Team Members must meet all training requirements within the first 30 days of hire. This will include required training during normal business hours on weekdays (4 minimum weekday training requirements to be completed within 2 weeks of hire)

Daily Pay Team Member Referral Bonus What you'll do With warmth and understanding, the Med Tech provides and assists in essential daily living care to older adults according to the resident service plan. Activities of Daily Living: Attend to personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Perform laundry, change bed linens, and tidy resident rooms Provide dental and mouth care Transfer residents safely, utilizing mechanical equipment as required Provide meal service in accordance with required diet Communication & Social Activities: Build positive rapport with residents Interact professionally with residents, family members, team members, and visitors Facilitate small group activities Engage residents in meaningful interactions Transport & Mobility: Prepare and transport residents to appointments and activities Assist with lifting, turning, and positioning residents Monitoring and Reporting: Follow resident service plans diligently Communicate any necessary changes to care routines Notify supervisor of any changes in resident condition Measure and record vital signs accurately in electronic records The above is a summary of the position, it in no way states or implies that these are the only duties this position will be required to perform. If selected for the position you will receive a full job description. What it takes Six (6) months of experience in a direct caregiver role or equivalent education/background. Experience of passing medications in assisted living, skilled nursing, or long-term setting is preferred. Completion of Medication Technician Certification, preferred. Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 50 lbs. Anything heavier than 50 lbs. must require assistance or assistive equipment. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must take and pass facility designated medication assistance training.
