The Per Diem Surgery RN position at Pinnacle will allow you to engage with the patient throughout their journey while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.We are seeking a Per Diem Surgery RN to join our dedicated team at Dominion Fertility in Arlington, Virginia. This is a per diem position. RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver direct patient care in the surgical suite, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR).Communicate post-operative instructions to patients clearly.Oversee suite operations, maintaining cleanliness, sterility, and equipment functionality.Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques, quality control, and safety standards.Initiate emergency protocols as needed and coordinate equipment repairs.Mentor new staff and ensure all staff are informed of protocol changes.Support organizational policies and identify opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with the Surgery Manager on equipment and supply needs.Monitor patient conditions and relay changes to the surgical team.Other duties and project as assignedPOSITION REQUIREMENTS Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).Active and current RN license issued by the Virigina State Board of Nursing.Active BLS and ACLS certificationsMinimum of 1 year of RN experience preferred.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a diverse environment.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $39.00 - $45.00 hourlyThe compensation range for this position is between $39.00 and $45.00 per hour. Final offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications.
