Job Description: UC Title: Techno, Radiologic FVR-0 Position Number:41074016 Reports to:Mgr, Radiology FVR Working Title:Techno, Radiologic FVR-0 Cost Center:Radiology-Diagnostic-FVR (422140) Bargaining Unit:NUHW-RNs & Prof FLSA:Nonexempt Date Created:3/20/2024 Job Code:008504 Hours:0.4 Shift:Variable FTE:0.01 Position Summary: The Radiologic Technologist performs the range of basic diagnostic radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures in a hospital setting and will perform x-ray in conjunction with surgical and other special procedures. Hours will vary based on procedure volumes and staffing requirements and will include working various shifts and taking call as needed. This position will perform in-patient and out-patient procedures in the main hospital for all patient age groups and demographics. Required Qualifications: Required:Minimum Education: Graduate from an approved AMA school of radiography. Knowledge and education necessary to obtain CRT certification in the state of California and current California CRT certification (or eligible to take the test if recent graduate or new hire AND must pass this test on the next possible testing date after hire) Current Fluoroscopy permit (or obtains fluoro permit within one year of hire). Current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).Current American Heart Association BLS certification. Minimum Experience: 1 year acute hospital experience preferred. Preferred:Preferred Skills and Abilities: Perform all diagnostic radiology exams that are considered routine. Perform all c-arm and portable examinations. Computer and keyboard experience.
