Responsibilities:
Providing safe, advanced methods for extra corporeal circulation for the Open Heart patient
Providing cardio-pulmonary bypass management
Set-up and operation of the extra-corporeal circuit and advanced life support systems
Set-up and calibration of physiological monitoring, auto-transfusion
Tandem Heart, RIS, adult ECMO and maintaining proper perfusion documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree plus graduation from a CAHEA approved perfusion training program
Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
NYS Perfusionist
BLS required
Posted Salary Range:
USD $109.20 - USD $157.50 /Hr.
