Noble Anesthesia Partners is expanding our office-based anesthesia services in the Houston, North Houston area and seeking Perianesthesia RNs who are available to work 2-3 days/week, Monday - Friday. Role Overview: Pre-operative Responsibilities:Assessment: Review medical histories, medications, and allergies.Preparation: Start IVs, administer pre-op meds, and obtain consent.Education: Inform patients and families about anesthesia, post-op care, and recovery.Intra-operative Responsibilities:Monitoring: Continuously monitor vital signs and anesthesia levels.Support: Assist with anesthesia administration and airway management.Documentation: Record medications, patient responses, and any complications.Post-operative Responsibilities:Recovery Care: Monitor patients, manage pain, and address complications in the recovery room.Patient Safety: Ensure a safe recovery environment and assess discharge readiness.Discharge Instructions: Educate on post-op care, medications, and follow-up.Additional ResponsibilitiesPharmacy and Supplies: Manage inventory and ensure proper storage and tracking.Equipment: Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment.Quality Improvement: Participate in activities to enhance patient care and efficiency.Pre-op Assessments: Assist with pre-op assessments via the patient portal.Position Requirements: Graduate degree from an accredited RN program with active RN licensure in the state of TXA minimum of 2 years of ER/ICU critical care or PACU experienceBLS and ACLS certification is required, PALS certificate is preferredReliable transportation and willingness to drive to client locationsAt Noble Anesthesia Partners, our mission is to offer a comprehensive peri-operative solution that enables surgeons and dentists to perform procedures safely in the comfort of their offices.
