We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Permit Technician to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic, motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. You'll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for leading and maintaining the Customer Service and enforcing policies and procedures as well as streamlining effective billing processes with multiple clients and contracts. Perform administration functions as necessary or directed Issuing and/or tracking permits through the permitting process, beginning with application acceptance, plan review, inspections and permit closure. Establishing and maintaining systems to ensure that all files, letters, reference manuals, field inspection reports, permit files, blueprints, drawings, and other data or material is maintained in an organized fashion. Working with plans examiners and inspectors throughout the company to develop and ensure consistent processes. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Proficient Microsoft Office skills. Excellent customer service representative skills. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Possess the ability to positively interact with the other staff members, the general public, contractors, governmental entities, and other clientele. Good time management, organization, telephone, attention to detail, and people skills. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: ICC Permit Technician and other certifications are a bonus COMPENSATION: Competitive salary and benefits package.
