About The Role The Permitting Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the permitting process for all solar EPC projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements. This role requires close coordination with internal project teams and external regulatory agencies to facilitate the timely approval of permits to support construction timelines.
\n ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage the permitting process for all solar EPC projects.Liaise with local, state, and federal agencies to secure necessary permits and approvals.Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators to ensure all permitting requirements are met.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of permitting regulations and requirements.Oversee preparation and submission of permit applications and documentation.Track the status of permit applications and follow up as needed to ensure timely approvals to support construction timelines.Address any issues or delays in the permitting process and develop solutions to mitigate them.Develop reporting and metrics to analyze permitting performance. Provide regular updates to the Director, Engineering Standards, and project teams on the status of permits.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in permitting, preferably within the solar or construction industry.Strong understanding of local, state, and federal permitting regulations.Innovative and adaptable, with excellent collaboration, organizational, and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or Teams.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.Experience with solar EPC projects preferred.Time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.Ability to adapt to changing priorities without compromising the quality of their work.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Organization and communication skills.Detail-oriented, self-starter.Office-based with occasional travel to project sites and regulatory agencies.Valid Driver's License, occasional travel to various job sites nationally as required.Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
