Our client is an independent pharmacy, providing comprehensive healthcare services to the local community. They focus on accessible and quality patient care, aiming to improve overall community health through dedicated medical and support services. Salary: Hourly rate of $80-$95 (negotiable based on experience) Job Summary: As the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), the candidate will oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, ensuring the delivery of top-quality patient care while adhering to industry regulations and standards. Job Responsibilities: Pharmacy Operations & Compliance: Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Manage inventory, record-keeping, and audits. Patient Care: Oversee medication preparation and dispensation. Collaborate with healthcare providers for optimized medication regimens. Provide medication therapy management, counseling, and education. Leadership & Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor pharmacy staff. Promote continuous learning and address staff concerns. Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with healthcare professionals, manufacturers, and other stakeholders for smooth operations and quality care.
Qualifications: A valid Pharmacist license. 2+ years of experience as a PIC. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing a pharmacy team. Strong understanding of state and federal pharmacy regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
