Job Title: Pharmacist (PRN)
Duration: 09 Months
Location: Boylston, MA (01505) Hours: 10 am to 6 pm
Schedule: PRN ONLY, 4-20 hours per month Vaccination Requirement:
Candidates must be fully vaccinated for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.
Key responsibilities include:
Prescription Processing and Dispensing: Ensure efficiency and completeness in prescription processing and dispensing.
Regulatory Compliance: Oversee all record keeping and licensing to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Protocol Adherence: Review, update, and adhere to pharmacy protocols and procedures to maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory agency regulations.
Audit Reporting: Report prescription audit results and trends on a monthly basis.
Reference Materials: Maintain and update all necessary reference materials.
Communication: Liaise with appropriate Client personnel, including other Pharmacists from remote locations and Customer Service personnel.
Establish good working relationships with physicians and nurses from key clinics.
Build and maintain relationships with third-party logistics partners.
Communicate with customers (hospital pharmacies, renal clinics, etc.)
to verify prescriptions, supplies, or support services required by patients.
Coordinate with Customer Service personnel to verify order entry quantities from customer data systems.
Documentation: Ensure all required documentation is maintained, including exception reporting.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement processes by providing input for procedural changes.
Compliance: Assure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality assurance and JCAHO standards, local, state, and federal regulations, and good manufacturing practices (GMPs), if applicable.
Other Duties: Perform other duties related to pharmacy as assigned and as required by the Board of Pharmacy.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: B.S.
or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Licensure: Active pharmacy license in good standing in the dispensing pharmacy location.
Experience: Job experience in drug distribution preferred.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
