SUMMARY:
The Pharmacy Administrative Assistant responsibilities may include bookkeeping support, preparing financial records, processing expenses, taking, returning and screening calls/texts/faxes, managing calendars, meeting and event arrangements, helping staff with administrative tasks, excellent customer relations, planning meetings, troubleshooting problems, maintaining department database and records, and serving as a liaison for pharmacy patients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Pharmacy Administrative Assistant will assist the CEO and Operations Manager in serving the needs of the 340b Pharmacy at the Poverello Center, Inc.
The department focuses on providing social determinants of health support for people in greatest need.
Core duties and responsibilities include the following:
•Provide the necessary information for our financial reports including monthly reconciliations of dispensing reports, monies received per patient, monies paid on behalf of patient.
•Reconciles all pharmacy accounts and identifies any discrepancies.
•tracks cash flow for payments of social determinants of health like rent, mortgage, utility and phone payments, monitoring expenditures, requesting funds, preparing payments.
•Answers social determinants of health customer's phone calls, texts and faxes promptly with knowledgeable answers.
•Research medication pickups, communicates with client, updates all involved.
•Owns customer issues through communication, listening, acting and follow through.
•Reviews pharmacy data monthly to account for pickups, missed medication and/or discrepancies.
•Understands documentation of social determinants of health in the Electronic Medical Record.
•Produce reports to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
•Assists with monthly pharmacy audits.
Communicates all corrective measures identified.
•Aides as needed on all other miscellaneous matters identified by CEO and/or Operations Manager.
•Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
