A Pharmacy Director contributes to AHF by overseeing Pharmacy Operations and is the Pharmacist-In-Charge, as required by the Board of Pharmacy. A Pharmacy Director enhances the reputation of AHF by collaborating with colleagues and team members to provide innovative clinical services and by sharing with others, ideas, learning from others, training and networking. The Pharmacy Director in an AHF co-located Healthcare Center/Pharmacy is an active member of the overall Tetrad Management Team of the HCC/Pharmacy unit.

AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Pharmacy Director will work as part of a close-knit team to make valuable contributions to all locations by helping bring "Best Practice" ideas, as well as providing consistent application of processes, procedures, and policy throughout the organization. Attending various internal and external meetings that may be assigned such as conferences and training is also part of the role.
