Job Summary and Qualifications Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician II performs functions related to pharmaceutical preparation and distribution.

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy Technician II with us:
You will do non-sterile compounding, stocking automated dispensing cabinets, You will prepare unit dose drug You will be delivering medications to patient care areas You will check medication storage areas for outdated You will need to complete billing duties You may work in an IV room, controlled substance distribution and monitoring, automation, informatics, and medication reconciliation.
Qualifications you will need for this role:
A Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA)- issued Pharmacy Technician certificate or a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA)- issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate.
If initially hired with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate, must achieve Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) within 12 months of hire date.
High school diploma Two years' experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
