We seek a

Pharmacy Technician

to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

N171 W21840 Caymus Ct, Jackson, WI 53037

Hours:

Will be working an 8-hr shift, 5 days per week during the business hours of 8:30am to 6:30pm CST (Monday – Friday and would be required to work occasional Saturdays; if a Saturday is needed, hours would be 8am - 4pm and would only work 4 shifts Monday – Friday for that week)

Primary Responsibilities:

Running a machine to package prescriptions

Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist

Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements

Performs various clerical duties relating to the department

Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Wisconsin OR the ability to obtain license within 60 days of employment (must complete application prior to start date)

Access to reliable transportation

Ability to work a 10-hour shift of 8:00am to 6:00pm, 4 days per week

Ability to stand for 10 hours at a time

Preferred Qualifications:

National Pharmacy Technician Certification

Previous pharmacy experience
