Pharmacy Technician - Shipping

Description:

The Shipping Technician is responsible for processing, packaging and shipping packages.
The Shipping Technician may assist with other duties as business needs arise.
The Shipping Technician demonstrates a commitment to the mission and goals of the Pharmacy.

Essential Elements of the Job: Data entry ordering supplies from vendors Processing, packaging and shipping orders accurately Maintain daily excel spreadsheet of tracking information to be emailed internally for monthly reporting Assist in receiving and material handling as needed Answer door, greet and assist patients Organize stock and maintain inventory of shipping supplies Examine incoming and outgoing shipments Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately Comply with all state and federal guidelines regarding medication labeling Maintains compliance with Company and HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements Consult with Pharmacist/Pharmacy Technician leader on duty Performs other duties as assigned

Skills:

Quality control, Laboratory, Gmp, Microbiology

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent

Basic math and analytical skills

Ability to work as independently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent attention to detail

Typical Working Conditions:

Ability to work in a variety of positions and locations such as sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and walking; for prolonged periods of time
