Job ResponsibilitiesMaintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.Acknowledge and/or greet guests and customers in a kind, professional manner and explain procedures.Identify patients according to lab procedures.Collect, prepare, store and/or transport specimens using correct techniques and anticoagulants.Collect, process, and perform bedside testing according to protocol.Assist in maintaining supplies.Receive incoming phone calls, document requests for blood to be drawn, and follow through on requests.Effectively use computer options relevant to job duties in the section.Coordinate daily technical activities and assure tests are complete and accurate in a timely manner by reviewing worksheets, pending logs, and uncollected lists.Any other tasks assigned by Lab Supervisor or Office Manager.Job RequirementsQualifications/Training: Not applicable
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education: Minimum of Graduation from a phlebotomy program from an accredited school.
