Phlebotomist

Position Highlights
Department: Laboratory
Hours: 20 hours per week
Shift: Days, 1st Shift
Position Summary:
The Phlebotomist is responsible for the collection and processing of specimens for laboratory analysis.
The Phlebotomist must have good communication skills and maintain a thorough knowledge of laboratory test requirements and departmental policies.
Responsibilities include adult and pediatric venipuncture, EKGs, order entry, and specimen processing.

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Phlebotomy certificate or 1 years experience is preferred
Basic computer skills
Previous phlebotomy experience with all age groups
2 years experience with adult education and instructional design
