Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative Contract Duration 3 Months Work Type: Onsite Location: Hiram, GA Job Description: Are you a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional seeking a rewarding career?
Our client is looking for a skilled Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II to join our team.
As a PSR II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by accurately collecting and processing blood samples.
Responsibilities: Draw high-quality blood samples from patients of all ages, following established procedures and protocols.
Prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.
Create a positive and welcoming environment for patients, building trust and confidence.
Educate patients about the blood collection process and address any questions or concerns.
Maintain a safe and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, interacting effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
Phlebotomy certification is required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
At least 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment is preferred.
Strong customer service skills and experience in a retail or service environment.
Proficiency in keyboard/data entry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
