Phoenix - Open Pit Driller

Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Open Pit Driller to join our Phoenix Operations team.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Open Pit Mine Operations Supervisor, the Open Pit Driller is responsible for the following:
Ensure drill area is properly cleaned before drilling and maintain an awareness of what is happening in work area - other traffic, machinery and plant, individuals
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Previous Surface Drilling/Blasting experiencepreferred
Valid Nevada drivers' licenserequired
Heavy equipment operating experiencepreferred
Ability to carry at least 50 poundsrequired
Excellent verbal, written, and radio communication skillsrequired
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a teamrequired
Satisfactory safety, performance, and attendance recordsrequired

The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
