Job Summary
Responsible for providing the best possible experience for our customers.
They will host film development events while focusing on film development instruction, as well as customer self-serve beverage service support.
Responsibilities: Daily: Ensure all material and chemicals are prepped prior to the start of each session Print session list and assign group seating prior to sessionEnsure each film development station is set with suppliesSupport with greeting and seating customersProvide a formal introduction at the beginning of the event to welcome customersProvide step-by-step film development instruction for a group of customers during live film development Act as the lead entertainer for the eventAnnounce dry breaks and refill Call for self-serving optionsEngage customers from stage and 1:1 while circulating the roomEnsure presence is strong and voice is projected at a reasonable volumeManage the music throughout the event to ensure the energy is highManage the crowd to ensure all customers are able to see and hear the instructionManages the session to stay within assigned session timeFollow cleaning checklists to ensure company standards are met When Assisting: Support with greeting and seating customersServe as cashier and server, providing drinking glasses at tablesideRestock throughout the session to ensure drinking glasses are clean and readily availableActing as the host of the party for a particular eventPlace customer retail orders through the POS system and collect payment for all salesHelp customers 1:1 with any film development needs that ariseTake customer photos during and at end of sessionEnsure customers are enjoying their experience overallFollow cleaning checklists to ensure company standards are metPerforms other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Must be outgoing, personable and funQuick understanding of how to process and teach our film development and scanning sessionsAbility to be reliable and timelyStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent sales and customer service skillsThorough understanding of the company's products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding marketProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and SlackMust have a reliable vehicle and valid driver licenseAbility to work nights and weekends as neededAbility to work 15-30 hours per week Experience/Education: Must be 21 years or olderExperience in teaching in groupsExperience working in a social environmentPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift, bendMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
