The candidate will provide software design and development services, web application and documentation development services to enable this migration.
In addition, the candidate will perform Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) to manage software deployments.
The ASOs Low Code Platform is an open-source customer relationship management (CRM) product called SuiteCRM based on the PHP language.
This platform is being used to support new development and also will be used to replace legacy custom remaining ColdFusion applications currently supported by ASO.
This activity is a major component in the development of the ASOs Target Architecture, and includes the following: Develop software solutions using the PHP, MySQL, and Apache.
Develop solutions on the SuiteCRM (low code) platform.
The program currently utilizes a mix of technologies in development primarily PHP with some JavaScript and CSS, and MySQL database.
Version control experience using GIT is strongly preferred, or an equivalent similar tool.
Any experience with infrastructure and server management is beneficial.
A thorough ability to connect to, navigate and run commands under Linux is expected.
Some light administration for Windows OS would be beneficial.
The candidate should expect taskings to include some reporting on software project specifications, activities, and status, as well some documentation tasks.
Required Experience / Skillsets: Cold Fusion LAMP stack JavaScript MySQL Linux SDLC Desirable experience / skillsets: Programming experience supporting custom-build PHP applications in production.
An understanding of web-application security and testing practices.
GIT or similar source code management tool.
Experience with automating deployments with Ansible.
System administration on Windows to support development tools.
Penetration testing, static code analysis and load testing.
Experience with 508 compliance implementation and front-end testing such as page speed tests and browser compliance testing is useful.
Experience with automated scripted testing using Selenium, JMeter or similar is beneficial.
Projects are managed in an agile environment, and experience with JIRA or similar project tracking tools is helpful.
Experience with federal government IT security standards.
Knowledge/experience with SuiteCRM/SugarCRM Required Education and Experience: BA/BS with 10 years of directly related IT experience (or MA/MS with 8 years of directly related IT experience).
The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500.
This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
