QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT Associate degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Physical Therapist Assistant license Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation facilities.
