We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Harper, KS. Day shifts primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend coverage for patient evaluations as needed.
Opportunity to manage and oversee a multi-disciplinary rehabilitative services team, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Work in a collaborative environment with a strong support team, including a full-time Physical Therapist, Certified Physical Therapist Assistants (CPTAs), and an Occupational Therapist.
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans; ensure treatments align with care plans and monitor outcomes.
Deliver direct physical therapy care and oversee physical therapist assistants to maintain high standards and compliance with department policies.
Lead and manage the rehabilitation department, including budget oversight, equipment allocation, and staff management.
Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure adherence to infection control and other regulatory policies.
Recruit, train, and evaluate department staff, supporting their development and maintaining licensure and certifications.
Work with the Chief Financial Officer on budgeting and review monthly reports for department performance.
Develop, implement, and update departmental policies and procedures in line with hospital regulations.
Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Kansas.
Experience in acute care, emergency room, swing bed, and outpatient therapy settings.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Commitment to high-quality patient care and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and foster teamwork.
Willingness to engage in continuing education, hospital meetings, and training programs as required.
