We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team! You will plan physical rehabilitative programs to improve patient quality of life. Summary: Under the general direction of the Clinic Director, the Physical Therapist evaluates therapy needs. Develops and implements Physical Therapy programs for assigned patients. Participates in related clinical activities. Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to APTA standards of practice as well as state standards. Develop Plan of Treatment for each patient based on initial and ongoing evaluations including short- and long-term goals, collaboration demands of other staff members, and required patient and caregiver involvement. Responsibilities: Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress Record and document patient care services Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care Assist other facility staff members as needed to provide care and create a clean, orderly and effective environment for rehabilitation and physical therapy. Qualifications: Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related field Ability to handle physical workload Ability to build rapport with patients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities Education and Experience: Graduate of a school of Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association, or a foreign-trained equivalent.
