Job Overview:




Focus Family Care are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team.
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery process for patients with various conditions.
Your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and treat patients in an outpatient setting, focusing on their physical abilities and limitations.




Responsibilities:




- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with acute or chronic injuries or illnesses, using evidence-based practices and current medical terminology.


- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal assessments, to determine the best course of treatment.


- Provide hands-on physical therapy, including trigger point therapy, to promote healing, alleviate pain, and improve range of motion and strength.


- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.


- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.


- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, stretches, and self-care methods to facilitate long-term recovery and prevent future injuries.


- Physical therapists must keep detailed notes of their patients' conditions, the specific treatments they're using with the patient and the patient's progress during each physical therapy session.




Requirements:




- Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or License.


- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as medical terminology.


- Experience in outpatient or acute care settings.


- Ability to apply evidence-based practices to patient care.


- Familiarity with trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.


- Ability to maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor in all interactions.


- Certification in physical therapy or a related field is preferred.




Job Types: Full-time, Part-time




Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

* West Palm Beach, FL (Required)
