Job Description - Physical Therapist. Outpatient (24000BIU) We will need a full time salaried PT that has strong background in neuro rehab, particularly CVAs, progressive neurological conditions, and paralysis.
A Brief Overview Organizes and conducts Physical Therapy program to facilitate the rehabilitation of people with physical and/or psychosocial disabilities. The Physical Therapist directs the patient's participation in selected activities/treatments to restore, re-enforce and correct pathology to promote and/or maintain good health.
What You Will Do Performs evaluation(s) and develops an effective treatment plan appropriate to a patient's rehabilitation needs within the care continuum.Educates patient/family/caregiver in applicable health information, treatment and prevention.Initiates and participates in the discharge planning process.Performs other department activities such as, but not limited to documentation, billing, support of department operations, etc.Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
